ISO 9001 Quality Management System

Our office adheres to ISO 9001 Quality Management Certification Standards and is regularly audited. The aim of the system is to maintain the internationally accepted high quality of our company's services. We introduced ISO 9001 in 2010. Our company is audited by SGS, one of the world's leading verification and certification companies.

 

Our translators and interpreters are assessed and screened on a regular basis

After applying, translators are asked to prepare a test translation corresponding to their field of expertise, the quality of which is checked by specialised reviewers. We set high standards in order to provide our customers with accurate translations: on average, 1 out of 10 translators manages to meet our requirements.

Following a successful test, the first few assignments the translator receives are relatively short texts with a loose deadline. If the quality of these works is satisfactory, they will gradually receive more and more demanding tasks. We support our permanent translators by giving them feedback constantly, coordinating their work and providing them with customer-specific terminology and translation memories.

Appropriate professional expertise and technical background (e.g. use of translation memories), reliability, and the ability to meet the specified deadlines are fundamental requirements. Thanks to the severe expectations and coordinated work, our clients always receive accurate, high-quality translation services that meet both linguistic and stylistic requirements.

Confidentiality: we translate highly confidential materials on a daily basis

Translation as a profession rests on mutual trust and confidence between the principal and the translator. Amidst the fierce competition in business none of the companies can afford disclosure of confidential information; as for translators, their reliability and professional reputation is at risk.

TrM Translations deals with confidential and highly confidential materials of companies on a daily basis. We handle materials of our clients with full confidentiality.

Upon request, however, we are ready to send you a signed non-disclosure agreement in which we state that we handle all information in full confidentiality. We do not give it out to any third party without the permission of the Principal, and we do not use it for our own benefit. We request the same statement from our translators.
